Scholarship: Award for the Best Paper on Facilitating Circular Business Models in a B2B Context
Blinto.se, located in Växjö, has swiftly established itself as one of Sweden's largest digital platforms for online auctions of professional products. Currently, the company boasts hundreds of thousands of users across Europe who engage in sustainable business practices within the fields of construction, agriculture and forestry, transportation, and manufacturing. Our presence is reinforced by auction brokers throughout Sweden, as well as offices in both Växjö and Stockholm.
In a rapidly evolving world, both consumers and businesses must adopt new perspectives to navigate emerging markets, purchasing behaviors, and services. A sustainable business environment necessitates innovative business models that meet current and future challenges. In recent years, circular business models have gained prominence as they present creative solutions to significant issues.These circular business models enable organizations to create value in novel ways and tap into new markets. However, there remain numerous challenges and unexplored territories within the circular economy, including aspects related to knowledge, applicability, and viability.
In partnership with the School of Business and Economics at Linnaeus University, we are pleased to announce the establishment of a scholarship of SEK 10,000 for the best essay facilitating circular business models in a B2B context. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire students to investigate topics related to circular economy, circular business models, and business-to-business collaboration.
The winner will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Innovative approach
- Practical applicability
- Scientific rigor
Additionally, it is advantageous if the submitted work:
- Relates to the fields of transportation, agriculture, or digital platforms
- Demonstrates a positive impact in comparison to traditional or previous business models
Essays should be submitted by June 30 to stipendium@blinto.se, where they will be evaluated by a jury comprising representatives from the School of Economics and Blinto.
